My introduction to the CZ platform came via the Tanfoglio line of pistols. I bought a Tanfo about 10yrs ago in 10mm. I liked it well enough to buy 9mm and .45 uppers from Reed's. Never any function problems with my reloads or factory in any of the calibers. the 9mm was exceptionally accurate, and I loved the ergonomics! I shoot USPSA and IDPA alternating between 1911s, Glocks, Hi Powers, Sig, and CZs. I'm fond of all these platforms, but find it's easier for me to shoot the CZs well. If I could have only one pistol for competition, it'd be a CZ, (Tanfo would work) Likely the SP-01 or the 85C. For a EOTWAWKI situation, sorry guys, it'd have to be a Glock. Hey, I like them all!

I'm actually in the market for my next carry piece. I can get an EAA Witness P .45acp carry for $320 at my LGS.
The only issue I have is locating a vendor who can or makes IWB's for this piece.
Thoughts or suggestions on an IWB for this one? I really like it, but if I can't find an IWB I may have to look at a different number two carry.

I've been very happy with the Remora IWB holsters. I used both a standard with reinforced top and a tuckable. The belt clip works to keep the holster from riding up when worn over a t-shirt (no skin contact).

Glad the EAA witness is welcome here ! I hope the Tristar is also, it is made by Canik 55 in turkey and is an almost exactly the same gun as CZ 75. I hope to have an actual CZ soon !! It appears that the CZ 75 is to Europe what the 1911 is to America, every MFG. is making one !!! Great gun BTW !!!

Any forum Austin has is firearm friendly, period. I'm a member over at http://hipointfirearmsforums.com and no one is criticized for their choice of weapon, and many if not most own several brands.
I like variety, I cannot be accused of fanboism for any brand. I snapped this before my recent "All 45acp" day at the range.

Thanks man! I didn't think about the XDS 45 in my carry holster at the time and the carbine was too big for the shot i wanted - or they would have been included. I like other calibers and own several but there's something special about the .45acp.
I also have a thing for pistols in rifle or carbine calibers.
Completely off topic for this forum, but only this one line: If Hi-Point wanted to make a rip-roaring fortune, they would make a carbine in .30 carbine.

Well I guess I have pushed my cz purchase a little further down the road !! I came across the SAR ARMS , sar b6p 9mm online for 267.00 cash price and free shipping ! Its a CZ knock off and a dang good one at that. I took possession of it yesterday and went straight to my happy place deep in the woods and put 50 rounds thru it !! Its a great shooter and very accurate . This gun has a home !! Being its the full size model it will be my gun of choice for the woods and my c-100 Tri-Star will be my ccw !! I have just over 600.00 in both of these guns and I find them both to be high quality for the money! I'm sure once these guns catch on in this country their prices will be up there with the other high quality guns!!
