just guessing but the newer style trigger and hammer might mean alloy frame. i have the exact same model.
There has never been a steel-framed P-01 Omega. They are all aluminum framed. Is there a way by looking at pictures of a steel frame vs aluminum frame to see the difference? What are the tells? Can you tell me which one this pistol has? View attachment 1553
The P-01 Omega has never been made with a steel frame. No need to look for anything to tell it apart.just guessing but the newer style trigger and hammer might mean alloy frame. i have the exact same model.
There were a very few P-01s made with steel frames, but none (to the best of my knowledge) with the Omega trigger. That is what I had thought too, but there are many people saying there are steel ones.
Since I don't have a steel P-01, I can only give comparisons with the aluminum P-01 and the stell SP-01.Is there a way by looking at pictures of a steel frame vs aluminum frame to see the difference? What are the tells? Can you tell me which one this pistol has? View attachment 1553
The steel frame P-01 was manufactured with a safety lever and not a de-cocking lever. I own both and by looking at them, I cannot tell a difference in the frame dimensions. I have not measured both frames however. Hope this helps my friend. Good luck and good shooting. Is there a way by looking at pictures of a steel frame vs aluminum frame to see the difference? The steel frame width is less than the aluminum framed P-01.The steel frame P-01 was manufactured with a safety lever and not a de-cocking lever. Short of bringing a magnet, I believe that is the best tell. The steel frame P-01 was manufactured with a safety lever and not a de-cocking lever
