i have 2 P07s and really like them. i would highly recommend them to anyone. the only downside i could think of is that the P09 is a giant handgun, lol.
Thanks haha I did see it's a full size duty gun which is fine. I'm not going to use it as a carry mostly at home and competition events.i have 2 P07s and really like them. i would highly recommend them to anyone. the only downside i could think of is that the P09 is a giant handgun, lol.
What comp is that?Highly recommend both PO-7 and PO-9 . The magwell on my PO-9 does not touch the bottom of my palm . I buy large size gloves . View attachment 1554 View attachment 1555
I made it . 304 Stainless.What comp is that?
All P-07s are the same size. Maybe you meant that you use a P-09 for duty?I use the P07 for duty and love it. The only thing I would recommend is going with the smaller P07.
No I use a P07. The smaller of the two between the 09 and 07.All P-07s are the same size. Maybe you meant that you use a P-09 for duty?
Parker Mountain Machine does make a very nice Comp if you’re interested. It is made out of 7075 aluminum. What comp is that?
Isn't the P-09 a polymer frame?Hey guys new to the forum, also new to CZ firearms. I'm looking into picking up a cz-P09 was wondering if anybody can give out some pros and cons on the weapon? Any issues that are common or likes dislikes about it?
The 75 and SP-01 don't really have a low bore axis. People often mistake the low profile slide as a sign of a low bore axis.Does the P-09 have the same lower bore axis as the 75s & SP-01 family?
I've not looked for his on the P series but I do know the low bore axis helps me with accuracy.
The combination of weight and low bore axis are the main reasons that I use the SP-01 family.
HTH
No, they're not even close. The P09 is basically the all metal CZ 75 with a polymer lower.
Conceptually they're similar. Mechanically they're completely different with only very few parts that interchange between the P-07/P-09 and the steel or aluminum frame non-Omega CZsI wouldn’t hesitate to get a P-09 or P-07, which are essentially polymer framed versions of the SP-01 Tactical and P-01 respectively.
Agree with thisFYI - if you decide to consider a P-07, DO NOT buy a Gen 1 ”Duty” model. They have a frame weakness / cracking problem, and do not have front slide serrations or changeable backstraps.
hope this helps
Or sticking a small o-ring over the back of the firing pin.I have the P-07 it's a great gun. The P-09 is great also you can't go wrong either way. The biggest "issue" I know of is don't dry fire it without snap caps. You can damage the firing pin retaining pin. An easy fix is a cheap upgrade to a steel roll pin. I suggest the MCarbo tigger kit it cones withe steel pin and is a good upgrade for a part time compitition set up.
