Hello,

I am in Canada and I am looking for a CZ P10F optic ready slide , just the slide. part #0563-0020-21-ND.

The dealers in Canada who carried them are out of stock. I'm looking for a US dealer who might be able to ship me one. I am double checking my Canadian regulations, but I believe the slide by itself is not considered a firearm under Canadian law.. This should mean that I am able to receive it with no problems. However,the shipping source may be subject to different regulations.

Any thoughts, hints, or advice on how I can obtain this part, would be most appreciated. Thank you.

CZ P10-C Parts (czcustom.com) You'll have to ask them about the process to sell and ship firearm parts from the US to Canada.

Have you considered having the slide you have milled for optics? Stonebridge Gunworks can machine the CZUB optic cut on your slide so that it will accept CZ OEM optic adapter plates.

Thank you for your reply. I would like the option to have an optic ready slide as well as the stock slide. This will allow me to change between a Red Dot scope and stock iron sights quickly and easily. Regards,

I am in the exact same boat. I was thinking, ask an American friend to purchase a P-10F OR on your behalf, and then try to import everything except the frame and sell the frame? I wonder if irunguns may be able to do so?

I am still searching for a supplier in Canada. I have found some literature in the Canadian regulations that the slide itself is not considered a firearm. If that is the case ,I should be able to import the slide from almost anywhere depending on the regulations at source. I am in the process of verifying this as well .

Only the frame is regulated at this moment. The issue is who has slides for sale, I haven’t seen any at all, unfortunately.

also, I reached out to one of the store that had the slide on the website in Canada (FOC). FOC replied: they don’t think the OR slides will be available again and they are removing it from their website.

I have been in contact with two or three Canadian suppliers who have indicated that they have the slides on back order. A couple other suppliers are checking around to see if they can find a source for them. Fingers crossed, as it would be nice to get a hold of one.

I have contacted CZ directly as well to see if I can find out when Canadian distributors will be getting more stock. Plan B is to try and find one in the USA to have shipped to me assuming their US laws allow it. Again, I am double checking that Canadian law allows a pistol slide to be shipped to Canada.

Hi. I found another option. A dovetail and adapter plate. I have to remove the rear site, attached the dovetail, attach the adapter plate then attach the red dot. I am awaiting delivery. It is far less expensive than another slide or having my slide milled. I don't know about performance yet.

Thanks. Was hoping to be able to keep the rear sight as well.

I’ll wait a little bit longer to see if there will be any restock. Otherwise will pick up a regular complete CZ slide w/barrel and have the slide milled for red dot and Glock rear sight.

Removing reinstalling the rear sight is fairly easy. I found an aftermarket slide that will work but it is $465 US and Cdn powers that be... advised I get and Cdn import clearance certificate prior to ordering from US to lesson chance of hold up etc at CDN border.

Going to be costly but desperate times calls for desperate measures. Plus I’ll be able to keep the non OR slide or re-sell. Not sure if stores are even willing to order knowing there isn’t a big market for these slides for their efforts. I am happy to have a slide coming in soon and will order mounting plates and optics. I don’t have time to wait around, knowing they might ban import of slides/barrels soon to combat ghost guns.
