Hey, on to my third CZ rifle soon (hopefully) and iam in a bit of a pickle.
For various reasons i do really want the compact tactical package of the trail but that 2moa guarantee would just be a dealbreaker for me on a nearly 2k rifle (in my country)
Now after hours of digging i find some reports on it shooting sub moa and a few reasons for why it would be less accurate. leading theories seem to be bedding( lack of it) and the handguard.
The stock also comes up but i would imagine that just comes down to technique.
So has anyone been able to accurize these? What i am looking for is a lightweight compact precision rifle that folds into a backpack. the trail is almost all of that, however i do have a need to hit small targets at 200-300 meter with it consistently
