Anyone else buy lead on ebay ?
10 lbs of "pure soft lead " for 25 bucks ! YAY !
I did the cubic inch calculations for a small flat rate box and the most you lead you can fit, with no space left over is 27 lbs.
Yet you see these yahoos claiming 6 muffin tin ingots is 30 + lbs.
Or the "lee ingots" that are exactly 1 lb a piece.
These paint chip eaters need a beating.

theres a lot of gems on there though.Like vintage reloading stuff.
Gunbroker people are nuts with prices.I wish ebay would let people sell bullets and cases.
What about the idiots buying it?
I have bought some WW lead on there, and sold some too when I had extra. I only went for the amounts that would be close to 50# or so, and not much over $1/lb shipped. If it is over that, I can get casting alloy for not a lot more, and I know what it is. No way would I pay $2.50/lb for pure lead. I could buy it from the scrap yard for less.
I have looked at lead on there but never bought any. But I agree the prices are nuts. I started looking around loa clay and have talked to some scrapers telling them I will buy the lead pipes for twice what they are getting paid. Still only $0.40-0.50 a pound.
