The Shadow 2 chamber has a very short throat. What factory ammunition are people using? When I plunk test my current factory ammunition only about two thirds passes.

That's pretty dang short. I've ran all sorts of random factory ammo through all of my CZs (but not an S2) and have never had that issue.

IME factory loaded 9 mm almost always uses RN bullets with a very shallow ogive, meaning there's a long taper from tip to where the bullet reached full diameter, so they tend to work in just about every pistol out there.

I've had the problem you mention with some of the RN bullets I've used for reloads, but never with factory ammo.

Might want to have the throat set back a few thou with a throating reamer.

I was using 130 grain flat point bullets. I'm switching to 124 grain round nose bullets. The 124 grain round nose seem to work fine.

I am using 115gr, Turkish ammo that was purchased during the pandemic.
I have run Fiocchi, S&B, Sig, Federal, Sig 365 without any issues -- all in 115gr. Fiocchi 124gr also. The 115gr all have round noses.
Also Federal Syntech in 115gr, 147gr, 150gr and Federal leadless 70gr ammo. The Syntech and IRT rounds have a flat nose.
I've not had or noticed any issues. Any ammo that the P-01 will fire has worked just as well in my Shadow 2.
I haven't run any defensive ammo through it.
