are you sure there is that much of a difference? i thought the frames were the same size and just a trigger and safety difference between the 2 models.

Yessir, the Omega has the ambi safety & I believe the P-01 has no levers on the right. I’ve inquired with a bunch of makers and that’s the reason I’m given + not enough of a demand

there should be no difference in a holster fit between the P-01 and the P-01 omega

i believe what the OP is saying is that holster makers do not account for the ambi safety/decocker on the omega with a left hand holster.

I doubt if it wouldn't fit regardless

So no one makes a holster for a P01 omega? It doesn’t matter if it’s for right or left handed if there are ambi controls. The right side control in your left handed holster will be on the inside - as is for a left side control on a right handed holster. The shell should be cut below the left side (outer) control for you?

their Drake model has a pic with an ambi control Shadow in it.
I agree with Bonj - I think the P-01 holster will fit

I guess you missed the OP's question. It took me 5 min to realize that Vedder specifically state their holsters only fit the P-01 with a standard (not Omega) decocker.

Since I mentioned Renaissance Firearms, I got this response when asking about their Fupa model for a manual safety P365. Here is their reply, I’m sure it would apply to your P01

I can set it up a few different ways to work with the safety. A flared out sweatguard with safety coverage, a super thin trimmed out sweatguard (not recommended but some people want it), or cutting the sweatguard below the safety. Cutting it below is the best option since there is no sweatguard to bump it during holstering, it would also allow for a full fighting grip when you draw. If you decide to order just mention in the comments at checkout how you want it.
