Greetings! This seemed like a good place to hang out since I got my CZ75 Shadow a little over a month ago. Exactly 2150 rounds through it as of today, getting ready to use it in USPSA Production this year. It's taking some work getting used to after shooting an XDM for a while, but the Shadow is a great gun and the effort is paying off quickly. Looking forward to being part of the forum.

Man, I love my XdM .45!
First handgun I ever bought, and the sweetest one I've shot so far.
I don't own a CZ though, so I can't compare.
I like the XDM platform a lot. Last year and the year before I shot the 9mm 5.25 and felt pretty good about it. Then my buddy got a CZ 75 SP01 and I loved the way it felt in my hand.

Welcome! The Shadow is awesome.
Thanks. Did a little work to mine and got the DA down from about 8.5 to a silky 5.5 and the SA is now 2.2. It came with the short reset. Took me a while to get used to the DA but it's been worth it.

Of course most of the beautiful stuff is inside - lots of polished internals, reduced power trigger spring, extended firing pin, polished hammer, lighter trigger and recoil springs, oh and a stainless steel guide rod. Current round count is 2760 but that will jump quick when the weather breaks. Way too nasty to shoot today or tomorrow but I've been cranking out rounds on the press so I'll be ready!

I'm kinda pumped about this one. First time I really was able to do all the stuff by myself.
