I just purchased and shot about 150 rounds through my first CZ- CZ97B. Performed flawlessly with steel guide rod, stock spring, and rubber grips. No malfunctions and recoil was minimal even with Underwood 185 +p hollowpoints and Doubletap 230 grain FMJ. Only thing I hate are the stock dim sights; that is easily fixed though.
The 97B is heavy but not noticeably while shooting. I figure if I run out of ammo I can always whack someone or something over the head with it to protect myself.....
