Hello everyone! I want to take the opportunity to introduce myself as a new CZ 75B Stainless (Matte) owner.

I've been a firearms enthusiast for as long as I can remember but never really found my enthusiasm extended into hunting since that was never part of my upbringing. I do have a lot of respect for hunting as a sport and FULLY support hunter's rights. I just never had the opportunity to grow up around it.

Actually, I'd enjoy learning to hunt but I hate the thought of killing something for sport unless I know the target would be fully utilized for food, or any other outcome that would justify the loss of life.

Regardless, I have always enjoyed my 2nd Amendment rights and have exercised them as much as my budget will allow in the form of target shooting with long guns and pistols from a recreational perspective.

Over the years I've managed to create a decent collection of what I feel are mediocre to very good quality firearms. Even so, I never considered adding a 9mm pistol to my collection. I don't know why. I guess my penchant for 45's kept a full-size 9mm off the radar until recently.

Being somewhat compulsive, I finally decided I had to have a full-size, all metal, 9mm and after doing a lot of research I settled on the CZ. From what I can tell after just a couple of days of ownership, I definitely made the right decision. This is an excellent pistol! The manufacturing quality out of the box rivals any gun I've ever examined. The design is "timeless" and the way this gun feels in my hand is superb.

Suffice it to say, I plan on wearing this one out at the range and enjoying every moment I have it in my hands!

WELCOME!!!

Great introduction. I'm glad you found your way here and I look forward to sharing information about firearms with you.

As for hunting, I don't hunt either. But only because I'm afraid of injuring an animal and not being able to kill it humanely. I would venture to guess most hunters do not hunt just for sport but for meat. I believe most animals shot by hunters are treated much more humanely than the meat we buy at the grocery stores where the animals are run through a slaughter house.

You sound like you have a nice collection of firearms. Enjoy. And we like seeing targets and range reports so feel free to share. :D
