Okay, I am assuming we all like pizza. But I want to know how you like your pizza. Any pizza I eat has to have onions on it. I used to be a veggie pizza lover but I now like meat lovers, too. The local pizzeria even puts Italian beef on their meat lovers pizza which is incredibly good. So, here's a poll to let us all know how you like your pizza. You can vote for as many options as you want.

You can't go wrong with anything on a pizza! My favorite is the chicken BBQ type, but it has to have lots of cheese.

Before my divorce, one of our favorite things to do was to go to our local pizza joint, and purchase a few pounds of their uncooked dough. We would then spread out little bowls of bacon, chicken, steak, pepperoni, along with many more bowls of veggies, and a few types of cheeses, and all the kids would be encouraged to make their own personal pizzas. It was fun for us to invent our own types and flavors.

I would do that with my kids, too. Though our options were much fewer because I knew none of them wanted chicken or steak. It was always just pepperoni, sausage. I would make a veggie one for myself.

I like the thin crust, pepperoni or same crust with 3 meats, with or without mushrooms. Wife and kids like the thinker ones with the onions, all meats, stuffed crust, some veggies. I usually have to compromiise cause they outvote me. Well....unless we go to a buffet.

We have a franchise called Vern's up here, the regular style is at least 1" thick up to 1.75 depending on which one you order. Best pizza i've eaten. No wimpy thin crust with a thin topping for me, load it up with more meat.:D

When I'm feeling like a quick pizza, I use two flour tortillas, spread Contadina pizza sauce on them (it comes in a bottle like Ketchup, and lives in my fridge as a staple), throw on some pepperoni (a bag lives in my freezer) Mozzarella (also in the freezer) and whatever other stuff I want..olives, mushrooms, ham, salami, whatever is handy, and throw it on a baking sheet into the oven at about 425.

Quick easy pizza!

Every once in a while I buy those already made crusts like Boboli. I buy the very small single serving size. Then I put a jarred pizza sauce on it and whatever, like you do. I like Mozzarella, cheddar and Parmesan. I always have onions. That's about it.

I love good pizza. High blood pressure and high blood sugar put me on a diet and exercise program so for a while anyway all I can do is wish and drool.
As long as you aren't eliminating bread, you can do your own pizza.

Just do it Italian style, very little cheese, very little meat. Heavy on tomatoes and other veggies you like.
And of course...smaller portions.;)

You're killing me Ajole! The delicious, thick, chewy, tomato brushed crust is the part that I have to stay away from. And the heaps of savory melted mozzarella. Lean m E at and veggies I can do, just not the good stuff.
Hey, I'm not complaining. I ate , drank and lived hard and enjoyed life unconstrained for 55 years. If I have to discipline myself a little at this point only seems fair. No regrets.

Ajole that looks really good.

My wife has been on me about pizza for a while. I know she does it because she loves me but man it just is so good. The family and I want to pizza over the weekend and I was able to just enough to be full but not too much to like crud. Small pieces is the key for me, maybe I can talk her into making the small ones at home.

No doubt that moderation is the key for most folks. I got way past that point but thankfully I wasn't past the point of no return. A little hard work and discipline on my part and I'm in better shape than I've been in 15 years. A few more months and I'll hit my target weight then I'll be able to relax a bit. I'll still have to moderate, but I won'tb push as hard as I n have been. This is still way easier than boot camp at Parris Island and nobody yells at me in the morning.

I believe in moderation too. Moderation in all things... including moderation!!!
