I've been playing with the 10mm in a couple of Glocks and a trio of 1911's. Two Kimbers, Eclipse and Raptor as well as a Dan Wesson Razorback. Old age a broken thumb joint and arthritis are catching up with me. So, I'm moving away from S&W revolvers and trying out the 10mm. Looking for a lighter recoiling set up than the magnum revolvers. I'm not the biggest Glock fan but they do what they're supposed to. The 1911's are a better fit for me. Mostly been shooting the NOE 403-198-WFN cast over Accurate No.9, trying for the 200/1200 bullet/velocity combo. Looked at the 6-inch Kimber and liked the longer sight radius and velocity gain but I can't sit with one holstered and not have it poke me in the ribs. In an auto the 10mm is an interesting round.

Back in the day the 10mm didn't interest me. We were very busy shooting 41 and 44 magnums.

Now i look at it differently. The ballistic equivalent of a 357 magnum in a standard auto.
Besides 1911s and Glocks there is another i'm wanting to shoot. Have a Tanfoglio 10mm on layaway. Love CZs and that is as close as i could get.

The MAGNAPORTING really does the job reducing recoil.

Was never interested in a Long Slide but the 10mm took me there. That extra inch can give us another 100fps with certain factory ammos.

Growing old is inevitable and can be a pain. But it beats the alternative.
A coworker recently had another polymer 10mm, can't remember if it was a S&W or Springfield but the grip frame was much nicer than the Glock 20/20SF frame. If I wasn't as invested in the Glocks already, I would look into this one. Closest I come to a long slide 1911 is the longer 10mm Glock 40 barrel in one of the model 20's. The CZ 75 based Tanfoglio is an interesting option. I have some trouble with these as I'm a lefty and you can't just add an ambidextrous safety to these or the CZ 75's. The CZ owned Dan Wesson brand 10mm 1911 is probably as close as I'll come to a CZ 10mm. I've shot ported pistols on occasion in the past, most of them seemed to have been Ruger single action 44's. Porting has help lower the recoil impulse but so far, the 10mm's don't bother me and 10mm recoil is quite a bit less than the 41-44's. I still haven't committed to the 10mm totally and I still carry the stainless S&W 41 magnum and 45 Colt Mountain Guns quite a bit. But my days of aluminum and titanium 44's are definitely over.

Glocks are the only polymer guns i own. All the rest of mine are metal. Glocks do what they are designed for and give me an alternative comparison.

And being right handed never had to consider otherwise.

It won't replace my 41 and 44 magnums.
But the 10mm can do almost anything one can realistically expect of a standard semiauto pistol.. It's been alot of fun exploring the 10mm round and a few platforms chambered for it.

The Long Slide is pushing me to extend the ranges.
Bit of a lefty thing but the high polish stainless CZ 75B and a transitional model 85 with the ambi safeties are my choice of CZ pistols. Supposedly a few model 75's were made and sold with ambidextrous safeties but I've never seen one. Can't tell by your photo but is yours matte or high polish? They're considered old school now with metal grip frames but mine aren't going anywhere. My pair wear the LOK palm swell grips.
The CZ 75B is matte stainless. CZ no longer makes stainless. Never seen another in the wild. Don't think i've seen an ambi safety either.

Those are LOK Grips. Have another pair on a 75 SP-01. Have a pair for a 97 but left the factory black aluminum on that one.

Sorry my photos aren't better.
The stainless 75B 9mm's as well as the 40-caliber model 75's were one of the few CZ 75's to offer a safety lever on the right side. And of course, the model 85's were offered. There have been a few others like the SA but they tend to be somewhat few and far between. Thought yours might be matte but also thought maybe just the lighting.

Just for fun until time to get on the range. Next few days there are errands to do.
The G10 Grips on the inside 3 are from STONER CNC. They are great to deal with. Custom ordered on the phone. Will help you select the best texture. Highly recommend them.

Have you asked that guy if he'll make CZ grips?

Check his site because i'm not sure.

My G10 grips for CZs all came from LOK Grips. They are another top tier company.

Most of my G10s for 1911s came from VZ. Ditto on quality and customer service.

Hope this helps.

I did go to his site as soon as I saw your post and noticed he didn't have any CZs on it. That's why I wondered if you had asked him. No big deal, just looking at his area code, he's semi local.

All the makers of G10 Grips that i am aware of use CNC Machinery to cut them out. So they have to create a computer file to guide the machine. Maybe they buy the progqam? Orders have to pay for that file before they make profit. Enough request could be the difference.

As far as i know, they all purchase the G10 material from 3rd parties.

I custom ordered a pair of Browning HI Power grips from VZ, knowing it could be a month or so before those would be cut. Seems they make them in Lots.

Same delay with hand polished Micarta for a 1911. Maxbe that was due to the time consuming hands-on nature of the actual polishing.

I used Stoner CNC because they have grips for Mark II, III, and Mark IV Rugers. Each grip designed to correctly fit each model. Hard to find support for out of production guns.
