Hi there,
Anyone know of a see through mount that fits the 16mm dove tail on the 527?
I love the open sights on this rifle! Very shoot-able with them. I love the accuracy potential using a 3-9 or 4-12 scope. I want both! I have had a scope mounted on it, and it was fine. But there are times when I just want to use the irons.
Some people have said that see through mounts are garbage. IDK. But if a quality manufacturer made a nice quality set, I think that they would sell.
If there are no see through's for the 16mm size, is there a quality see though mount for standard sizes? I have a buddy with a machine shop, he thinks that he could open up a smaller set, to the 16mm on the 527.
