I replaced the safety on mine with the extended one but the right side stayed on I just had to pull back the spring of the left side to pull the safety out and put the new one in with the hammer pulled all the way back.
Shadow 2 safety lever issue?
Picked up a very slightly used Shadow 2 Black and Blue a few weeks ago and while dry firing the right hand side [from the rear , as held to shoot] safety lever popped off the gun.
After looking around at diagrams for the Shadow 2 I took it apart and seen the right hand safety detent was missing. Called the original owner and he swears he has never took the gun apart other than field stripping.
So i looked around to find one in stock and every time I came to a "does this part fit my model" it says no. So does the Shadow 2 use a safety detent on the left[with a spring] and on the right [without a spring] or is there another issue I'm missing? The safety detent is item number 15 on the attached imagine.
