Well I'm pretty new to pistols and I'm looking to buy my first range gun. I'm tossing up between the shadow 2 and the orange. The price is considerably higher for the orange. Is it that much better or would a novice shooter like myself be better sticking with the shadow 2?

I own both, and the Orange is the best shooting 9mm out there.

Two different guns, orange is single action shadow da/sa. Comp gun I'm kind of assuming by your choices. So limited (Orange) or production (shadow) if USPSA is your poisen again a lot of assumptions on my part and definitely not the only way it can go down. Honestly can't go wrong with either. Just pick the right tool for the job you want to do. Just my .02 enjoy
