Slide stop spring fell out. p01 omega compact urban

New to cz pistols and looking for some info.

Slide stop spring fell out. Is this a normal occurrence. New to me first time buyer of a cz. Just took slide off to clean the gun after shooting and the slide stop spring easily falls out of the gun. Also the small pin seems to be held in place with the spring fitting inside the groove. Luckily I did not loose the small parts. Do I need a new spring?

Thanks in advance.

Reposted here. Not much luck in the other CZ forum.

Sounds like it. I have never seen that happen before. Is your spring shaped like an L or is it more round on one end with the longer leg? Does it look like the one below?

Yes. Like the one you linked. L shaped. Everything functions normally but the spring is very loose. Never had a cz before and also never had parts fall out of a gun before during normal cleaning.

Sorry it is a p01 compact omega. Still new to cz
I have never seen this happen unless the spring broke. I would order a new one or if it's a new gun call CZ and request a new one. I have worked on hundreds of them and never seen this unless the spring was broken. It should be very hard to put back into place, if not someone may have attempted to make the slide release easier to get out and bent it. Since it is spring steel it may break if bent back so a new one is called for.
How old is your gun?
Depending on the age of the gun it may have supposed to look like the one below and is broken. You can determine this by the heavier angles across the top part of the spring and where the spring pocket is located under the L shape inside the frame of the gun. I have seen them break the longer leg off and this would create your problem and make the spring appear like the newer unit.

Calling cz. Thanks for the info. Relatively new gun. Looks to be in good condition.
