SP-01 Tactical - CGW package for 3 gun

Hi,

First time posting. I did search :).

I used my stock SP-01 tactical exclusively for 3 gun. I’d like a lighter SA/DA pull. I don’t want to sacrifice any reliability for it though. I struggle to understand exactly what the output of the packages CGW offers. Any experiences or thoughts on what I should do?

Thanks

You can install (or pay to have installed) any CGW package you want. Reliability will be 100% if you don't use a hammer spring under 13 lbs. You can experiment with the 11.5 lbs (black) hammer spring (I have and it's been 100% reliable), but the 13 lb (blue) hammer spring will set off any properly-seated primer known to man.

The spring color codes is for Cajun only. Other vendors may or may not have the same colors for each weight.

I purchased a Cajun Gun Works SP-01 with the Pro-Package, CGW barrel bushing, the old style trigger.
My gunsmith Cajunized my SP-01 the same. So I have two -- the CGW is in the safe while I shoot the Cajunized one.
The Cajunized SP-01 shoots better than a stock Shadow 2 (Blue or Black). Having shot both a good bit before the Cajunization, I was pleasantly surprised that they swapped places. Maybe the Shadow 2 will regain the lead when I have it Cajunized. I also changed the sights on the SP-01 that I can actually see (TruGlo TFX Pro, IIRC) but that doesn't change the "shootability".
Suggestions: Get the Works! Either send the SP-01 to CGW or have a very good gunsmith Cajunize it. (A CGW-related gunsmith lives in my area, though I don't think that the work is hard for a gunsmith.) Don't use a rookie or good gunsmith -- aim higher!
