To Shoot Or Not To Shoot?
I have a dilemma I have acquired a new pistol this week it is a Springfield Armory P9 Ultra IPSC LSP .45 cal my issue is that it is still brand new and unfired other than what the factory testing from the Springfield custom shop!
These guns were Imported parts from Tanfoglio before EAA in the early 90's and then assembled and finished by Springfield here in the USA.
The Ultra model that I have here was finished in the custom shop under the direction of Les Baer.
I normally don't keep safe queens but this gun was only made for 2 years
and the fit and finish is in my opinion just as good as my Tactical Sport.
So what would you do???

Wow - lucky you! Really just a question of whether you see these as investments or shooting guns you want to hand down eventually... No bad choice either way 
I think I will shoot it!
