Update, I appreciate all the comments however it seemed problematic that I could increase the pull weight to where I wanted it. A few days ago I was watching a movie and at the same time I dry fired the pistol for at least 1 hour. After that the pull weight seemed much more familiar to my brain. I took it to the range a few days later and felt much more comfortable with it.

I think after you shoot it for a few months carefuly at the range, it will be second nature. I used to be "I only want a 3.5 lb 1911 trigger" . My thought was, it just cant get any better.

But if its a range toy you can get used to the lighter trigger and learn to prefer it.
